Terms
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms cover the Dejo software and this website, dejo.run. They are short on purpose.
The software is open source
Dejo is free and open source under the MIT license. The license is the full agreement for the software: you may use, copy, change and share it, including for commercial work, as long as you keep the copyright and license notice.
As the license says, the software comes "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damage that comes from using it.
Use it responsibly
Dejo drives a real browser on websites you choose. You are responsible for how you use it:
- Follow the terms of the websites you automate. Some sites do not allow automated access.
- Only sign in to accounts you are allowed to use.
- Do not use Dejo to attack, overload or get around the security of any website.
- Check what your agent does before it changes anything important, such as paying, deleting or sending.
Dejo stops at captchas instead of trying to solve them, and it never automates a Google or SSO sign-in. Please don't work around either.
This website
You may read, link to and quote this website. The Dejo name and logo identify this project; please don't use them in a way that suggests we made or approved something we didn't.
The benchmark numbers on this site come from scripts anyone can rerun, in the benchmarks folder of the repository. Other tools change over time, so your results may differ.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too.
